Hawila is a 32 meters-long historical Baltic trader built in 1935. The vessel is being refitted for commercial cargo by a large group of international skilled volunteers. Hawila will soon sail organic goods along European waters and act as a mobile educational and cultural platform.

Our vision is to engage and bridge coastal communities with transported local products by sail. We aim to unite the transport of goods with an onboard educational platform to inform about the issues surrounding globalisation, and challenge the current food system culture.
